Re: Playoff Discussion
You're pulling for Vancouver? Absolutely. Krazy Kenny can eat a dick. After turning the Wings into a bottom-feeder, he stepped into an ideal situation with two best players in the league and one of the more dynamic young offensive defenseman in the league (that he could have drafted in Detroit inst...

Re: Playoff Discussion
I'm a little surprised Vancouver is leading Edmonton 2-1. Having said that, once again secondary scoring disappeared for Edmonton and it's the top line + Bouchard that generates all offense. Too early to get excited though -- McDavid/Draisaitl are over 2 points per game and can still turn this seri...

Re: Around the NHL '23-'24
Colorado forward Nichushkin suspended for 6 months and put in the players drug program. Second time in less than a year. Left the team last year in the playoffs for "personal reasons". https://www.tsn.ca/nhl/colorado-avalanche-s-valeri-nichushkin-placed-in-stage-3-of-nhl-nhlpa-player-assi...

Re: 2024 IIHF Men's World Hockey Championship
Lyon injured.
Ned gave up 4 goals against Slovakia and got pulled in the 3rd. Augustine played the remainder of the period, but lost in OT. Finished the game with 8 saves on 9 shots.

2024 IIHF Men's World Hockey Championship
Raymond will wear a letter for Sweden. Impressive considering that team will have veterans like Kempe, Eriksson Ek, Olofsson, and Dahlin. Pittsburgh Penguins veteran Erik Karlsson will serve as captain for Team Sweden at the 2024 IIHF Men's World Hockey Championship. The team announced Friday that K...

Re: Yzerman Beyond Round 1
If I understand correctly, Yzerman gets involved only in round 1 -- the rest is ran by Draper?
If so, I wonder if the same was true in Tampa. Which means Yzerman shouldn't be credited for all those later rounds wins.

https://www.tsn.ca/nhl/craig-button-s-mock-draft-who-goes-after-macklin-celebrini-1.2116650 Button has us taking Michael Brandsegg-Nygard (6'1" 198) 41GP 8G 10A 18PTS. Uh yeah Pass... I don't know, seems like a Draper-kind of pick. High IQ, good defensively, good skater, hard worker. We're als...

Petry will be the fire that forges Augustine into a future Vezina winner.holytoledo wrote: ↑Tue May 07, 2024 6:48 pmSo are you saying Petry might actually die?Wizard of Corsica wrote: ↑Tue May 07, 2024 2:40 pm Even if Larkin is healthy, skipping this tournament is a wise decision. Larkin is at the stage where this extra curricular hockey is going to catch up to him.
